The Danforth village board has received a letter from the City of Gilman to the effect that the agreement the two towns had which allowed Danforth residents to take brush to a burn pile at the Gilman sanitary sewer plant has been rescinded.
The ban is effective immediately and the Danforth board is in the process of locating a new brush pile as soon as possible.
Any residents who have any ideas can contact President Larry Decker.
Danforth resident Jim Eden was at the meeting to ask if anything has been done regarding the noisy motor at the water plant.
The board will contact ERH and ask them how they are going to fix the problem.
