The Danforth village board has been unable to find any firms to handle the motor fuel tax street project which the town had sent out for bids this year.

In lieu of the road work, the board voted to spend up to $500 for spray patching on the bump on Front Street as a temporary fix.

The board will ask their engineering firm to rebid the project with a July 1, 2015 deadline.

The board would also like to come up with guidelines for the public comment periods at board meetings.

Board members are asked to bring suggestions to the next meeting.

In other action, the board discussed storm drains and will have those that are in bad shape cleaned.
